I started looking for ways to get out of this loop of working and giving until I was exhausted. I listened and read an researched… until I finally found tools that I could use to help me. I’ve found a simple seven-step system using the principles of yoga.

According to a study done in 2006 by RMIT University of Melbourne, most yoga students start a yoga practice because of physical health benefits but they continue to practice because of the benefits to their mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. Here’s a juicy tip, two of the seven steps for removing stress and anxiety are in the physical realm of your life. They are:

  • Learning about what works for your body and taking steps to care for it.
  • How your physical environment directly affects your vitality, sensuality and health.
